Matilde de Melo

Brand Strategist & Project Manager

 

Matilde brings with her over fifteen years of experience in business-to-consumer and business-to-business marketing and advertising across various industries. She works with international investment groups, consumer brands and private clients, thinking globally while never underestimating local knowledge. With a strategic approach and a creative flair, Matilde combines her keen eye for detail and aesthetics with her way with words and communication in every project she undertakes.

With a British education from St. Julian’s School and a BA (Hons) in Marketing Management, from IPAM University, Lisbon, Portugal, Matilde started her corporate career at McCann Erickson creating B2B and B2C advertising campaigns for Coca-cola, Unilever, Siemens, L’Oréal and many other brands. At Float Health she worked with Pfizer, Roche and Novartis and later joined Young&Rubicam to create campaigns for clients such as Danone, CGD Bank and Allianz. Spending two years in Maputo, Mozambique, she worked with Vodafone, BCI Bank, Toyota, Pepsi and other brands in between. The Integrated Campaign for Vodafone won the Africa Com award in the United Kingdom, and Matilde moved to London in 2010.

Selected by NESTA, The Innovation Foundation, London, UK, she wrote a B2B Mentoring Toolkit for organisations in TV Production, Advertising and Digital Media to grow their businesses in a sustainable way. After many years abroad, Matilde decided to return to Lisbon, Portugal, and carry on her work from the lively cosmopolitan paradise she loves to call home.
